ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Richard Mann was born and raised in the West Virginia hills and has hunted from the Montana mountains to the green hills of Africa. While in the military and during his law enforcement career Richard worked as a firearms instructor and has experience as a competitive shooter. A multiple Gunsite Academy graduate and organizer of the Gunsite Academy 2016 Scout Rifle Conference, Richard has authored several books and contributed to almost every major firearms and hunting periodical. A hillbilly at heart, Richard lives on Shadowland – his shooting range in West Virginia – with the most understanding wife in the world, their three kids, and a very protective Rhodesian Ridgeback.
